Leonida Krajewska served as Assistant Secretary of the Polish War Relief Committee in New York from 1916 through early 1919. Working closely with Ignacy and Helena Paderewski, she coordinated its fundraising activities, including gala events, letters of appeal, and press releases. She also kept a scrapbook of newspaper articles, speeches by Paderewski, and a wide variety of material concerning the fundraising efforts.
