Born in 1862, Emil Adolf Videl (sometimes spelled Weydel or Waydel) was a prominent lawyer in Warsaw. He married Wanda Maria Lublinska. Their daughters Janina ("Nina") and Jadwiga were born in 1888 and about 1893, respectively.
After Nina's untimely death in 1915, Emil's grandchildren Rena and Zygmunt lived with him and Jadwiga.
Emil died around 1927.
